Images of a 10 year old girl sleeping. Her dreaming form lands back into the sleeping body…at home. The entire family is sleeping. Under the same roof…and dreaming. They could even be dreaming the same dream. But tonight -as she has been so often in the preceding weeks -she is flying in her dreams. Are her dreams are pushing out of her dream state to her waking state? WONDER HAPPENS AT HOME…
“MY GRANDMOTHER’S HOUSE”

My Grandmother’s House, a title referencing Colette’s memoir “My Mother’s House” published in 1929, is a film that explores the idea of home as a physical space that houses both our physical and mental baggage. While living in my late grandmother’s home, I’ve recorded and pieced together both her space, which remains relatively unchanged, and my ever changing inner dialogue. “If I am more my self, will I feel less alone?”

“On the ironing” is the third of a six-stories photographic project undertaken by the Eye’s Walk team of photographers.
Our goal is to tell a story about how different people can live their personal notion of familiarity or intimacy, their “HOME,” in public spaces. “Home” is also the current theme of Eye’s Walk digital festival 2015
