Θα υποδεχτούμε τον Σεπτέμβρη με μια έκθεση κολάζ της οποίας τα χρώματα μας θυμίζουν το φθινόπωρο.
Η Νάνσυ Κατσιγιάννη γεννήθηκε στις Βρυξέλλες, από Αμερικανό-Γάλλους γονείς, και μεγάλωσε στη Γενεύη της Ελβετίας. Σπούδασε στη Σχολή Τέχνης της Γενεύης, και τα τελευταία χρόνια αγκάλιασε την τέχνη του κολάζ. Αυτή τη στιγμή ζει τόσο στη Γενεύη όσο στη Σύρο.

We will welcome September with a collage exhibition whose colors remind us of autumn.
Nancy Catsiyannis was born in Brussels, of American-French parents and was raised in Geneva, Switzerland. She studied at the Geneva Art School, and, in recent years, embraced the art of collage. She currently lives both in Geneva and Syros.
About her work, she says: “My interest in transformation in general is what draws me to create collages. I feel there is a place for transition in this medium: from scraps of paper to constructing a new image. There is a story within, but it is not entirely “mine” to begin with. It is revealed to me through the collage itself, during the process and later, when it is completed. I like to think of making a collage as following an unravelling thread that leads to a discovery.”
